One of my many random thoughts throughout the day, I just had to share this one with all of you! Still feeling very perplexed.
Okay, where in the world are the fluffernutters?! If you have no idea what I am talking about I am referring to the golden apple of school lunches. You take your two slices of white bread, yes white, don’t roll your eyes, you slap some nice creamy peanut butter on one half and on the other is the majestic marshmallow creamy paste that tastes like heaven on a spoon, mm mm mm. I can literally feel myself salivating as I write this, ugh.
“Do kids even know what these salivating, lip smacking, god given things are?!”
I don’t know if it is the fact that I am now an ‘adult’ and ‘adults’ don’t eat things like fluffernutters but I have not once heard anyone mention these fantastical beasts of a sandwich in at least two years. Two years! Do kids even know what these salivating, lip smacking, god given things are?!
In elementary school I used to literally trade my entire lunch box if someone had a half of a fluffernutter that they didn’t want, or I wanted it more than they did, like come on people!
This was just a spur of the moment, strange, whimsical thought I had today and I wanted to share it with you, my lovely readers. So let me know! Do Fluffernutters still exist? Do people still dream about them? Crave them? TRADE THEIR ENTIRE LUNCH FOR THEM?!
