BOOK REVIEWS

Dancing with the Devil is a jaw dropping, captivating, beautifully written story. It begins with a young woman living in Canada named Celeste Davidson, otherwise known as Camila Lopez in America. Right off the bat you are drawn in to the story, I was on page two and I could not put it down and that feeling never went away up to the very last page.

After I finished reading this book I had to take some time to process it because there was just so much to think about. The book itself is filled with plot twists, ups and downs, and a bitter sweet romance born under a cloud of abuse, murder, and manipulation. As the characters develop, along with the plot, the story drags you deeper into the insanity of a man whose reach is nearly untouchable. Camila must run for her life and continuously hide her identity in order for her fellow friends to help clear her name, but she does not take this journey alone. By her side is Agent Kingsley, a sexy Canadian rookie who doubts the truth up until the last second as it is smacking him in the face and dragging him into a dark abyss of lies, deception, and hidden agendas.

This story floored me over and over again and I had to continuously remind myself that I wasn’t reading a best selling novel. I fell in love with each character and it left me wanting to know more about them and what their futures hold. If an intense action/mystery romance is what you are looking for then this is your next read, if it isn’t your style I suggest at least trying to read it because this book will captivate you and hold your attention every step of the way.

Dancing With The Devil

Dancing With the Devil is written in an absolutely breathtaking way. I was hooked right away. I was constantly on my toes, sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what could possibly happen next. The way it is written I felt as though I was one with the main character, Celeste Davidson, I felt everything that she was feeling straight to my core leaving me feeling vulnerable and exposed as I read. There are very few books I have read that have captivated me the way this one has, it yanked me into the plot and drew out feelings I have not experienced in a very long time.

Celeste Davidson is an illegal refugee from the United states taking up her new life in the beautiful country of Canada where she works to rebuild the life she lost. She is on the run from a very dangerous and powerful man who ripped her away from the life she led and forced her into a situation that I can only dream of in real life, and even then it terrifies me.

Celeste teams up with Canadian hot shot rookie, Agent Kingsley. From the start he has his doubts about Celeste and the story she brings with her but as the story’s plot thickens and the truth begins to unravel his doubts disappear along with it. This book isn’t just twisted and dark, romance is strewn along throughout it. It is a beautiful swirling romance that anyone would be lucky to have.

Chemistry

This book kept me wondering what was going to happen next. I didn’t think that Avery would ever get the confidence she gained when it came to Ezra. It definitely shocked me. This plot always had surprises which kept me reading. There are a few grammatical errors and some parts do need some more clarity, but other than that the book is incredible. The romance within the plot has put Ezra and Avery on my list of favorite couples I have read about. Yes Avery grows out of her shell, but Ezra still manages to make her cheeks turn pink all the time. I also didn’t think Ezra would ever open up about her haunting secret, but when she does, my heart goes out to her. I can feel her pain and it makes my heart break. I am just glad Ezra had Avery to lean on. Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on and Chemistry shows exactly why.

Chemistry shows you that eventually, no matter who you are, or where you come from, you do get a happily ever after! You just have to be patient.

Come check Teddy-writers story out. Show her support and let her know what y’all think. Keep it real...Until next time!
