We have all been in a position where we walk into a room, see a pile of clothes, toys, books, dishes, and we just whip back around, close the door and act as if we saw nothing.
Cleaning is a hassle, be it you have kids, live with other people, or maybe even just yourself, cleaning is boring, it is tedious and it is in no sense FUN.
It is time consuming and basically pointless because the mess is ultimately going to end up right back where it was before you touched it, so why even bother?
This is not to say that cleaning is not important, I hate a dirty, messy house, it messes with my vibe and stresses me out to no end. But is it a crime to just every once in a while, close the door behind you and move on with your day like you saw nothing?
Not in my book!
Especially when you have kids, boy do they know how to make it look like a category 5 hurricane just whipped through your house.
If your having a rough day and don't want to clean but want to pick up, just shove it all into one room, close the door, brush your hands off on your pants and go pour yourself a glass of wine, or drink a beer, and sit back and relax. The mess isn't going anywhere but you have a date with the couch.
