Death
Such a final word. Often difficult to say. Most people will instead resort to:
Passed on
Passed away
No longer with us
They're in a better place

The truth is, death isn't final. We are all on a journey that can end at any moment but our story, and our life, doesn't have to end there. No matter what you believe in.
May it be a higher entity, the afterlife, or reincarnation.
As we grow and age it seems death is becoming a more regular event.
How do you cope with it?
How do you wrap your head around losing people you have known your entire life?
How do you...move on? Move forward?
There is no simple answer. The one thing to hold on to is that they are not gone.
Physically, yes, they are no longer standing on this earth in a form you can hug, kiss, or touch.
But they live inside of you. They live in your memories, they live in photographs, they live in stories. It is up to you to continue living for them. To keep them alive.
At first it is not easy. Your mind is riddled with numbness, questions, heart break, and pain.
But it will slow, and it will pass. Lean on those around you. Talk about those you have lost, relive the bright moments you had with them with your family. Talk about trips you took, things they said, the things they did. You are your loved ones voice now, so use it.
Celebrate they're life, the lives they affected, the things they taught you, the stories they told you. They are not gone. Hold on to that and remember, tomorrow is another day, make the most of it. Hold your loved ones that you can touch, and bring to life the ones you can't.
