What is Beautiful?

I have an important topic to cover for this beauty post that I think every girl will fall in love with.

Who has been told they aren’t beautiful without makeup, a flat stomach, big breast, a big ass, fake nails, and tight clothes?

I have been told these things on multiple occasions. Yes it stings. Yes it doesn’t help with my insecurities but when will it be the time where we put our foot down.

When will the day come when we realize we shouldn’t change ourselves for anyone but ourselves?

For example, I just dyed my hair red. My boyfriend has been wanting me to do something with my hair for over a year, he suggested if I dyed my hair I should do the color red. When I decided to actually go through with it, it wasn’t because my boyfriend wanted me to, it was because I actually wanted to, because I needed a positive change in my life.

There are days when you feel like absolute garbage as a woman, or a man, and you just need to do something different. Be it buying something new, getting a haircut, getting your nails done, anything to make yourself feel more human, and more lively.

My point is, don’t change for other people just so you can get their approval...

...or for them to like you more,

...or so you can believe you fit in.

If they can’t accept you for who you are then are they really worth it?

I am not dissing girls who wear makeup, have the fancy fake nails, are in amazing shape, and wear clothes that show off their body. All I am saying is that they should be doing it for themselves. They shouldn’t do it to make everybody like them. That is no way to live!

You need to love yourself first, love your curves, your scars, your blemishes, and all of your insecurities. You come first, you are beautiful the way you are, you are gorgeous inside and out and the only person who can make you doubt yourself is you.

Be true to yourself first and foremost, over here at kRazy kAtz we aren’t always happy with how we look but we are working to change that for ourselves. What is important is getting your groove back and we’re going to take that journey together, so stay tuned ladies and gentlemen because we are bringing our sexiness back!
